Say it ain't so. Globes Online is reporting that the relationship between Brooklyn developer Shaya Boymelgreen and Israeli millionaire businessman Lev Leviev has "soured" and that the two have "decided to end their collaboration." Boymelgreen's new partner: Israeli tycoon Nochi Dankner. Last week, Boymelgreen and Leviev sold their Miami holdings for $89 million. The tanking Miami real estate market might have helped snuff the love match.
Leviev Boymelgreen are building Beacon Tower in Dumbo, several condo projects on Fourth Avenue in Park Slope and Gowanus Village. The new Boymelgreen-Dankner team is, apparently, big on development in India and Israel. No word on Brooklyn.
