After seeing our item last week about the colored lights flashing on the East River side of Schaefer Landing in South Williamsburg, a reader sent in some photos from a friend's apartment taken high up in the new tower. While many move ins are still months off, the 26-story north tower is, apparently, slowly being occupied. The reader who sent the shots of the cool view writes:
Some friends of mine bought a 2 BR and moved in last weekend...The view is pretty awesome. As of last weekend, much work remains to be done on the "grounds." Oh, and a number of readers report seeing the colored Schaefer Landing lights from Manhattan, so no one has been seeing things.
