Bodies, Burned Hookers and, uh, Bathtubs

Does news of the East River State Park have you all pumped for the future of the Williamsburg waterfront? Well then, perhaps you'd like a glimpse into its past and present. A YouTuber took a camera down to what looks like the North 4th and North 5th Street areas (bonus point if you can spot 184 Kent in the clip) and interviewed people about what goes on by the water. We won't ruin anything for you?well, we kind of already did with the title of this entry?but we will say that not even a well-manicured park can wipe away the area's gritty history. Especially since, according to a comment in yesterday's park post, you only have to dig 12" to reach bum shit.
