The squabbling over Brooklyn Bridge Park has turned into a fight over domain names. It seems that the Brooklyn Bridge Park Defense Fund, which is suing to stop the use of highrises to bankroll park construction and is online as parkdefense.org, is upset that the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, aka brooklybridgepark.org, bought the parkdefense.com and parkdefense.net domain names and is linking both to its own website. The Park Defense Fund suggest in the Post that they'll sue over the domain name game. How about a consolation prize? Curbed knows for a fact that parkdefense.info, parkdefense.biz, parkdefense.us and parkdefense.tv are still available, plus officialparkdefense.com and myparkdefense.org.
