The end is nigh down at the future site of the Great Glass Egg in Lower Manhattan, if the sign we captured above is to be believed. It was spotted outside one of the shops on Broadway that's set to be razed eventually to make way for the Fulton Street Transit Center. Meanwhile upstairs, Sleepy's (right) seems to be planning on, er, sleeping through the apocalypse, what with their months- or possibly years-old "grand opening" sign still adorning the highly visible corner location. The latest intel has commercial relocation set for September, so the end is coming only in the same sense that those "back to school" sales are relevant as of now.
