[Kalina, 7/16/06.]
Last week, we had buildings going boom on the Upper East Side. This week, thanks to regular Network lenser Noah Kalina, we bring you streetscape art in the very same 10021 zip code. Word came from a tipster in the real estate business who wrote:
39 E. 63rd Street should get some bad press. There's a half-black, half-white mannequin hanging out the window (literally) and a kiddie pool in the front. Some kind of tasteless artistic statement, perhaps. It definitely deserves press, as it's cool in that Across the East River kind of way. Ahead, find out who is to be thanked for this installation; or, to be blamed, depending on your tolerance for the visual arts.
