Storefronting: Shoes and Booze in BK

1) Brooklyn Heights: We love hearing about Two Trees-related retail (a la 70 Wash), so here's a fresh one: "The first Walenta storefront to be confrimed at 125 Court Street (Court House Apartments) is a NEW BALANCE Store." Lace 'em up! [Storefronting inbox]
2) Ft. Greene: Blogger Set Speed reports that two new hot spots will be opening soon ("one to the right of the corcoran office on Lafayette and one to the left of La Bagel Delight"), creating what is sure to be the "de-facto night-out spot in Fort Greene." See y'all at Habana Outpost. [Set Speed]
3) Brooklyn Heights: We're now fairly certain that the only survivors of the impending nuclear holocaust will be cockroaches and bankers: "Looks like that empty lot under the Brown Harris Stevens at the corner of Montague and Henry in Brooklyn Heights is becoming yet another bank, a WaMu no less." [Storefronting inbox]
4) Bronx: In a blow to Manhattan bird-lovers, 33rd & Bird has relocated from 33rd Street (duh) to a 5,000-square-foot space in the Bronx. Still unclear? "They sell hand-fed baby birds, bird food, products and a large selection of cages, and they do grooming and boarding as well." [Apartment Therapy]
5) Upper West Side: And because it wouldn't be a Storefronting without a Double-D update: "Just saw they are putting a Dunkin Donuts on Bway bet 89th and 90th. Yeah!!!" [Storefronting inbox]
