CurbedWire: Downtown Developments

1) Tribeca: A reader sends an update (and pic) on former development du jour 1 York Street, noting that "from all the movement on the once desolate St. John's lane, it looks like Enrique Norten's project in TriBeCa is quietly rolling along. With all of the NYPD's cleanup of Canal Street and the new park just north of this block, I'd say "One York" is pretty much a heaven sent for this area." [CurbedWire Inbox]

2) East Village: A tipster informs us "that some large developer is buying up large chunks of real estate on 9th street around Avenue A/1st Ave." Get in now while the gettin's good.[CurbedWire Inbox]

3) Tribeca II: A tipster informed us that Buster's Garage has closed to make way for a proposed 12 story condo building by R Squared and architects at Beyer Blinder and Belle. Sadly, there are no drawings on the BBB site, but WiredNY has a sketch of the building here. If anyone has some floorporn, let us know. [CurbedWire Inbox]

4) Greenwich Village: If your apartment is feeling a bit empty, this posting on CraigsList offers a bit of French intrigue to spice up your life. [CurbedWire Inbox/Craigslist]
