Celebrity Real Estate Wrap: Uma's Gramercy Key

1) Uma Thurman has a new key to Gramercy Park. The actress is moving back to the same building where she lived with ex- Ethan Hawke. Thurman bought a Gramercy duplex a few floors above where she and Hawke used to live for $2.65 million. [S. Jhoanna Robledo/New York]
2) Soyuz-riding millionaire inventor Gregory Olsen has bought fashion mogul Elie Tahari's penthouse at the Trump International Hotel & Tower for less than he paid to go into space. ($13.05 million for the apartment versus $20 million for two days in Soyuz.) The four-bedroom, 5 1/2 bath, 51st floor condo had previously sold for $16 million the Post reported, making it quite the bargain. Tahari, meanwhile, bought a Soho triplex from Rupert Murdoch in December for $24.6 million. [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]
3) Make that two Stewarts that have bought in the Richard Meier-designed glass buildings in the far West Village. Martha Stewart was an early condo buyer in one of the two buildings at West and Perry streets, buying for $6.1 million in 2002 and selling for $6.67 million in 2004. Now, daughter Alexis Stewart has cut a deal to combine three units into a triplex in the Meier building at West and Charles Streets. 4) Aveda founder Horst Rechelbacher just bought a $4.3 million penthouse apartment at One Fifth Avenue next to the apartment he already owns, giving him the whole top floor. The skin and hair care magnate says: "I seek New York from all points of view. I'm not looking at buildings, I'm looking over them." [The Real Estate]
