'Tender Offer' Sought for Wasserstein's Old CPW Co-op

Page Six has it that the co-op owned by consummate New York playwright Wendy Wasserstein, who died of cancer in January, is on the market, with the proceeds going to her 7-year-old daughter Lucy. It's most likely the apartment you see above, listed on Stribling's site for $5.475 million, same as in the gossip item. It's three bedrooms and 3.5 baths with views of the park from the 11th floor of 75 Central Park West, at 67th Street. For some reason, we expected to see a lot more books throughout the place, and it took us a moment to spot them sitting off in the far left corner.
