Ain't nobody better get between David Dunlap and a good underground construction yarn. They're building another pedestrian tunnel in Lower Manhattan and the Times' man at ground zero is there with all the "secant wall," "interceptor sewer," "cylindrical concrete pilings," and "steel H beam" lingo you can handle. The passageway, set to be done by '09, will eventually connect the World Financial Center's Winter Garden to the PATH terminal, the Fulton Street Transit Center, and other new concourses. Huzzah!
