It's been a little while since we checked in with Ian Schrager's sweet Noho dream, 40 Bond. In our absence, the place has shot up, as documented by bloggers Transfer and Daily Dose, who notes of the above photo, "For those not familiar with the construction process, these two pieces are mock-ups in place for approval by the architect and client before fabrication of the skin by the manufacturer, a fairly typical procedure on jobs of this size."
