Rumblings & Bumblings Responses: Rawlings 2-Seamer

Answers below to Tuesday's questions. If you've got an answer, another development question, or a sweet, sweet digital photograph, send us a line at tips@curbed.com?or drop a note in the comments below.

1) Lower East Side: Controversy swirled in the comments over whether the rendering above right, which we guessed was destined for 98 Delancey was in fact the rendering for Pomeranc's Thompson on Orchard hotel above left. As you see from the images, the buildings are wildly different. According to Rawlings Architects, the architect for both projects, "98 Delancey" will have a condo-hotel on the first two floors and 58 more apartments in the 13 floors above. No news on the space across the street above ludlow fitness, though this whole stretch seems to be lumped together on Property Shark.
2) Lower East Side: As for the rumors of a hotel at 189 Bowery, nothing juicy in the inbox, but there was this bit from Tuesday's Page Six: "Also [at a Soho party for Glamour editor Cindi Leive] were Les Moonves, Julie Chen, Denise Rich, Simon Doonan and Silvano Marchetto, who said he is working on opening up a branch of his famed Da Silvano eatery 'on the Bowery in a hotel in a year and a half.'"
3) Upper East Side: Where have all the flowers gone at "#1s Farmer Market" on 94th and Third Avenue? A commenter says, "there was a fire in the market. I dont know what is going to happen to it next, but I did see that guy who is a super for a few buildings on 94th st who drives the tan Cherokee parked in the lot, so if you know who he is, I'd ask him." Ask the super! Genius.
