Look up on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg and you will notice the Finger Building's color shift from yellow to black that began a week ago has resulted in, well, a very black finger now towering over the neighborhood. According to a knowledgeable commenter, the black stuff is tar applied to keep the yellow board from losing its war with the elements and becoming moldy. And so, for now, Finger Noir. At the rate things have gone, Finger Noir could be a fixture of the landscape for a long time. Enjoy.
