When the crazy kids at architectural firm SHoP cook up a new design, we're seldom disappointed. Here's their latest insanity, an 11-story tower slated for the southeast corner of East Houston and Mulberry Streets in Nolita, directly opposite the Puck Building. Look closely at that facade: what we've got here is the vague whiff of undulation. Hot. So hot.
The building, boasting the twin addresses of 290 Mulberry and 41 East Houston (guess which one the developer's going to go with) will hold residential condos, and will replace the shuttered Houston Village Farm Deli on the corner lot, and subsume a lot next door as well.
