For you fans of the Revere Sugar Plant and its iconic dome in Red Hook, things are looking very, very grim. Large parts of the dome are gone as are the surrounding buildings. A crane is now onsite doing underwater salvage. Over the weekend one of the masts of the old sunken lightship that figured in thousands of photos was removed and a special correspondent reported that the entire ship was raised from the bottom yesterday. Two to three weeks, at most, and everything is gone except piles of rubble and twisted metal.
