What can you do when you've got to leave town in a hurry and sublet the apartment? A reader writes:
At the drop of a hat -- like, by the end of the month -- I'm leaving New York for a year. I need to sublet my Chelsea apartment, fast. (It's a really nice, top-floor 1BR, newly furnished.) So of course I've put an ad on Craigslist, and taken out an ad in the Village Voice, old-school style. Are there other channels I should consider for getting word of my sublease out? I've heard rumblings of Wall Street firms making listings of this sort available to incoming NYC employees -- any way to tap into that world? Or any other bright ideas?Your thoughts and suggestions ahead, as always, in the Comments section.
