Who doesn't love a little Friday constructoporn, especially when the lobby pictured will one day be the gathering grounds for the Museum of Arts & Design, currently being wedged into Edward Durell Stone's 2 Columbus Circle, f/k/a the Lollipop Building? We got our first glimpse inside the loved/hated building back in June, and since then, it doesn't look like much has changed. However, the MAD website now has a slew of interior renderings that we don't recall seeing before. Look at that Learning Center. It's just so ... learny! Stone's signature lollipops, seen above, will remain in the lobby of the future, but not much else is sticking around. A refresher, and a current building view, after the jump.
