CurbedWire: Major Real Estate Conquest, Quadriad Erects a Fence, Bocci for Seward Park?

MANHATTAN?We wouldn't normally veer into press release territory like this, but this isn't the normal real estate PR thing. The email we received congratulates Alyssa Lipsky of Conquest Advisors for "appearing on the cover of the October issue of Rolling Stone with Kid Rock as well as in a double page photo spread inside the mag." That would be the inside photo of Alyssa and Kid Rock, here. The email says "we look forward to all of her future endeavors." Oh, absolutely. [CurbedWire Inbox]

WILLIAMSBURG?Last week, Quadriad Development said that work was about to start on their development on N. 3rd Street. Looks like they're keeping their word. Per an email, "They’re taking down the old fence and putting up a new fence. There were about a dozen workers and 2 or 3 white collars there when I passed around 10." There is something about a supermarket being part of the project buried in the documents about the five-story buildings going up on the site. [CurbedWire Inbox]

LOWER EAST SIDE?Seward Park Coop residents into bocci, swimming or parking can now speak up. A reader writes that the coop is trying to figure out how to use some empty property. He writes, that the "Seward Park Cooperative is soliciting ideas from its shareholders as to how to best make use of its property at Essex and Hester which has long been dormant. Ideas have ranged from a dog run to a tennis court to bocci ball, to a picnic area, to a parking lot to an indoor pool facility with retractable roof. The board has planned a little get together today for the shareholders to reflect on what might be there." We're down with the bocci court. [CurbedWire Inbox]
