We'd noticed that a new condo on Manhattan Avenue had just gotten a banner proclaiming it Greenbelt Brooklyn, and today's Sun puts leaves on the branches. The Greenbelt, as it turns out, will have eight apartments and a 4,000 square-foot dance performance space on the ground floor that will house the Center for Performance Research at Greenbelt. Some revenue from the sale of condos--which will go from $715K for a 1BR to $920K for a 2BR--will subsidize the arts center. As per the building's name, it's a green structure with many of the usual bells and whistles like bamboo flooring and kitchen cabinets, energy saving appliances, etc. No full info on the website yet.
