The Village Voice is out with their annual Best of NYC list, and while there are a few huh?s in there (is there anyone in this day and age that still needs an explanation of what/where Dumbo is?), it's always worth a morning scan. The People & Places category is where the relevant stuff is, including anointing the classic 9.5-foot-wide townhouse at 75 1/2 Bedford Street (right) the Best Little House in the Village, and issuing props for the Bayard Building, the Chambers J/M/Z stop and the Brooklyn Bridge, among others. East New York took home the coveted Best Place To Get Murdered, Raped, Or Robbed In The City award. Better luck next year, Upper West Side!
