Lowdown: We've laid off the Harlem renderings for a while because nothing could possibly compare to the shock and awe of the Aloft, but sales begin later this month at the twin Delany Lofts buildings, so we couldn't resist. The word "loft" is written 14 times in the press release, so the developer is trying to stress the open, airy living we all love, however we don't have the floorplans to back it up, and the 9'-10' ceilings aren't quite what we would call lofty. The unit breakdown is 24 one-bedroom, one-bath lofts and 12 one-bedroom, two-bath loft duplexes with terraces. Features include stacked washer/dryers, kitchens with granite countertops, stainless steel and Energy Star rated appliances and Shaker style wood cabinetry as well as hardwood floors. Not many other frills here, so if you want personal wine butlers, look elsewhere.
