Thanks to a last-minute voter surge that we're quite suspicious of yet very thankful for, our own little pixelated tower on Norfolk Street took home the nationwide BLU(E) title. BLUE received a final tally of 1,030 votes, to BLÜ LA's 748. San Francisco, not really worthy of mention but we'll be polite, received 222 votes for its BL?. We maintain that ridiculous accent symbols may have had something to do with the results. Thanks to all who voted and restored this city's dominance over perplexing, silly, neighborhood-despised architecture. Because we don't like to brag, we'll have someone else do it for us. The blog Restless constructed the perfect visual metaphor for this whole competition.
