Oh, how the block of Bayard Street that we named Karl Fischer Row because three-fourths of it is now occupied by buildings designed by Williamsburg's everywhere man has changed. The fence around the Ikon (most recently the host to this and some "Condoburg" messages) is now down, revealing the building in all its, uh, redone splendor. Seems like only yesterday it was just a cream-colored brick industrial building without a big thing on top and Bayard Street was a construction wasteland lined by a big blue fence. As 20 Bayard is the only building still behind a blue fence (not counting the former Beauty Addiction Building), the ball is clearly in their court.
