CurbedWire: Huge NYT Trees in Midtown, Bedbugs & Bedbug Dogs at 30 Lincoln Plaza, Condo ID'd on the UES

New, 6 comments

MIDTOWN?We turn to the new New York Times Building for the second time this week, the first time having been some photos of the "Moveable Type" lobby installation. The reason this today is the large number of very big trees currently sitting in the street outside the building. The tipster who sent the photo above writes, "These tree are being delivered this afternoon to 40th Street across from the new Times courtyard. Construction worker says they will be lifted up and over tomorrow." [CurbedWire Inbox]

UPPER WEST SIDE?It seems there is a little detail about the condo conversion at 30 Lincoln Plaza that may have been overlooked: "You failed to mention that the building is infested with bed bugs...the management has confirmed this and is handing out pamphlets and they have even had a bedbug sniffing dog in some apartments..who knew! I would think this situation is going to really boost sales on those $1,185,000 647 sq/ft one bedrooms." Bedbug sniffing dogs?!? Excellent. [CurbedWire Inbox]

UPPER EAST SIDE?A reader notes that a new condo across from the legendary Normandie Court has acquired an identity via a just-back-from-the printer sign. He writes that "I live in Normandie Court across from the amazingly quick ground-up new construction which donned signage today. Apparently it's a condo. 212 East 95th Street." It's called East Hill, but only has an limited website right now. [CurbedWire Inbox]
