Lowdown: The signage for 100 N3 Lofts just went up and the website proclaims it "artsy sleek chic unique" and "a unique development envisioned with an artistic concept" and "a special habitat for design-conscious urbanites." There are also terraces and cabanas on the roof of this neighbor of the cabana-topped Mill Building, leading one to wonder if there will be cabana envy on N. 3rd. What we like best, though, is the marketing pitch for Williamsburg itself, which features the obligatory photo of the Bedford Cheese Shop (but, sadly, leaves out Uva, the wine shop): "The East Village has extended to Williamsburg, one of the hippest and trendiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn....100 N 3 is the central location of all the happenings and buzz of the neighborhood." Well, thank God, we know the center now. We were afraid it had moved to Bushwick.
