Just when the whole epic Six Columbus waiting game is so over, the much delayed Hotel Le Bleu in Gowanus is standing ready to assume the throne. The Fourth Avenue hotel was originally supposed to open in early July and, like clockwork, the opening has been set back every couple of weeks. The new, new (hoped for) opening date: November 2. The previous one: October 17. The one before that: October 1. And, long before that: August 13. Etc. Management is blaming the Department of Buildings, which "mis-located our paperwork." Even when it does open, the top floor restaurant and lounge will still be under construction. Or, possibly not, depending.
