Things you need to know right now about the Bowery's boxy New Museum, open December 1:
1) The finishing touches are still being made, but New Yorker architecture critic Paul Goldberger files his review this week, and it's a total rave. Sample: "The depth and shadow and texture of the façade can be almost magical in the changing light."
2) When the museum opens at noon, it will be open and free to the public for 30 straight hours?until 6 p.m. on December 2. Thank your friends at Target for that.
3) Artist Ugo Rondinone's "HELL,
YES!" installation, a giant rainbow-colored light-up sign, will go up before the opening on the front of the museum. Check it out here.
