CurbedWire: MTA's Hudson Yards Comment Shoebox, Burg Condo Buyers Liking the Party?

MIDTOWN?The MTA is sparing no expense in soliciting public comments about the various Hudson Yards proposals that we've reviewed in detail today here, here, here, here and here. The Comment Box, pictured above, is one part of the presentation we didn't get to, so here it is courtesy of a tipster. Very impressed, she writes: "I went up there today and the (empty, soggy) comment shoe-box was my favorite part. Ritzy! This is, after all, the largest development site in Manhattan." WILLIAMSBURG?In the Burg, even a (possibly toxic) parking lot is an opportunity for fun. A reader emails: "Last night I walked by around midnight and there was some kind of hipster-madness happening inside the see-through camper that doubles as the office for this ghetto parking lot. Fyi, there are no lights in this lot so good luck finding your car without a flashlight if it's anytime after 4pm for the next few months! Anyway, it was a bizarre scene. The Williamsburgeoisie who bought in the LUCENT condos (or whatever it's called) across the street must be thrilled with the all-night trailer-raves." Cool. [CurbedWire Inbox]
