LIC's Powerhouse Gets Tubular & Glassy

New, 48 comments

When we visited Long Island City's Powerhouse last week, it was to note some PriceChops. We return this week because of the glass tubes that are taking shape as part of the radical makeover of the former power station. The circular, glass spaces are the living rooms of some of the condos. In the meantime, half the building has pretty much been torn demolished. The redo is the work of the ubiquitous Karl Fischer.
