After false starts going back to July, Gowanus finally has its boutique hotel. Hotel Le Bleu on Fourth Avenue finally opened on Friday, although it was not a hub of activity on Saturday, unless the fire alarm going off counts. Sad news, though: Vue, the lounge & restaurant atop Le Bleu, won't open until next year. In fact, the top floor on the backside of the hotel is still yellow wall board. Now, the question is: will tourist jaws will drop when they make the transition from hotel website rendering to reality?
