The city and state already made it clear that they are preparing for Wall Street year-end bonuses to be down around 10%, which is a big enough hit to concern even those who swear that the bonuses don't affect the luxury real estate market. Today, the Times gets the scoop from a variety of compensation experts and executives, and some predict bonus drops of up to 15%. Yikes! Oh, subprime mortgage meltdown and credit crunchmania, when will you twin beasts of despair leave us alone and go, like, plague Europe or something. Wait, don't. Then no one will be buying these apartments.
