Folks, when a parking lot has its own marketing website and logo, you know the offering is truly something special. And if the Jesus-like graphic above doesn't bang home the importance of this sale, perhaps the fact that the brokers actually define the word "oppurtunity" on said website is a less-subtle indicator of what we're dealing with. The lot for sale is 432 Broome Street, between Broadway and Broome and adjacent to Bloomingdale's Soho. The asking price? A whopping $25 million. That's about $3,000 per square foot as it stands now, but the buyer will be able to develop a new 40,000-square-foot building on the land. Not huge, but big enough to leave a mark. The zoning is a little dicey, but it could be massaged toward residential. Perhaps a game of guess-the-developer will be in order soon.
