It's been a while since the welcome wagon rolled by 80 Metropolitan in Williamsburg. For a while, the banners around the site had become magnets for commentary that wasn't exactly a warm embrace of the project that is almost about to start rising above ground level. And, then there was a clean up. Well, the pro-80 Metropolitan crew is back with another, uh, welcoming message at the corner of Wythe and Metropolitan.
