SOHO?As the Trump condo hotel in Soho rises, it's adding a new element to the skyline. Our photog about town, Will Femia, notes, "It's really striking to me how this building sits right at the bend in the bottom of 6th ave and as such gets to stand alone in the skyline. I can only imagine what the straight-shot view looks like from inside the place." Another correspondent notes: "Same effect on Seventh Avenue South, I've noticed." [CurbedWire Staff]

BUSHWICK?A reports back from taking a look at the L Lofts in Bushwick: "The prices are (as always) high, but the layouts and spaces were very nice, and definitely unique compared to the 15-20 other condo units we have seen thus far (Arris, Fischer Row at McCarren Park, Sevenberry, Luminous, etc.) Saw some issues with potential water seepage on the top floor units (bad roof?), but overall we were pleased enough to consider making a low-ball offer. What is the word on the street about this development? It appears as if none of the units have sold. I know the neighborhood still sucks (I grew up literally around the corner), but the location is ideal for my commute (two stops away on the L), and I can hack the lack of amenities in the area. Do any curbed readers have insight?" [CurbedWire Inbox]
