Progress may be slow-going at 808 Columbus/Columbus Village?the ridiculously massive mixed-use development that will change the Upper Upper West Side forever?but Winick Realty has been hustling like mad to lease out those 320,000-square-feet of retail space. The Whole Foods location has been known for a while (it's even celebrated in the renderings), and now some other companies have signed on for this giant new community being built from scratch. Will Columbus Village become a new enclave of charming mom-and-pop boutiques, a vibrant marketplace of ideas and community building? Yes! Oh wait, we mean no. A tipster let Racked know that both Chase and Bank of America have signed on the dotted line. Yeesh, it's enough to make you want to get your highlighters out!
