The new River Ridge condo building on the Lower East Side is famous for two things: occupying the spot of a former chicken slaughterhouse, and being practically on the Williamsburg Bridge. Apparently both of these amenities don't seem to be strong selling points, because our friends at StreetEasy have just alerted us that Elliman has been added to handle the sales and marketing duties. What, people need convincing to pay over $1,000/sf to live on Ridge Street? Shocker. The Elliman listings include some interior photos, several of which were shot at night, perhaps to hide that fabulous bridge view. No mention of a chicken curse, either.
