So, if you visit Coney Island in 2011will you know where you are? We've already got the big Coney Island boardwalk remake, glass towers and the Aquarium redo. Now, a 5,000 seat concert venue could replace the little bandshell that hosts a summer concert series with the likes of Julio Iglesias and Liza Minelli. It would be an ampitheater modeled after Jones Beach. Price tag: about $30-$35 million give or take. So, would Bjork play KeySpan Park or the Jones Beach Nouveau ampitheater? No reaction yet from the neighbors.
