A mere 22 months after watching a swath of its lawn (and retaining wall) slide into the Henry Hudson Parkway, the folks at Castle Village in Hudson Heights have almost finished patching their gaping hole. Having followed this story through sleet and snow, misdirected GPS routing, and the loss of the original stones thanks to sheer stupidity, we're almost sorry to see it fixed. (Almost.) Anyone at Castle Village want to let us know what the final damage to co-op members' wallets turned out to be?
