Scenes From A Harlem Fire

While building fires aren't too rare in New York, it's not often you catch the NYFD FDNY in the process of getting it under control. A tipster writes:

I was coming home today with my family. We pulled up to 112th Street and Lenox Avenue and saw flames shooting from a window of one of the walk ups on the corner of 115th and Lenox Ave. I have never seen a blazing fire before. It was amazing to watch fireman work to get a fire under control. They truly are heroes.According to NY1, NYFD FDNY pulled five babies from the burning building. Our friends at Harlem Fur have additional coverage.
