After seeing these signs in the window of 88 Leonard, we're suddenly feeling a little less loved. We've given Leviev Boymelgreen's soon-to-open 352-unit rental development coverage in the past, naming it a Development Du Jour. Oh, sure, we razzed them about the building's 20 passenger party spa, too—maybe these guys just can't take a joke? Or maybe the signs are intended for that gang of architecture-loving cut-ups over at Wired New York, who have been quick to jump on architect Costas Kondylis' design, declaring it not to be a worthy neighbor to the very special McKim, Meade & White building across the way at 374 Broadway. Either way, where's the love?
