In the space where the Blind Tiger Ale House once stood, and as previously reported on Storefronting, residents near the corner of Hudson Street and West 10th in the West Village will soon be able to enjoy coffee-flavored beverages courtesy of an upstart firm from Seattle. Seems Blind Tiger partisans have already been on the scene, cruelly stripping away one of the F's from the facade. Reports our tipster, live from the scene: "The letters just went up yesterday. I shall continue buying my morning coffee at the Mud Truck, which has taken up residence in Sheridan Square."
