Feel the Fever: McNally Soft-Opens Morandi

For many, President's Day is a day of rest, or of buying new cars. For restaurateur Keith McNally, it's apparently the perfect day to throw open the doors at Morandi, his new West Village Italian (his first venture into the cuisine, following Balthazar, Pastis, and Schiller's). Reports Eater, "Although it's slated for next week officially, Morandi opened its doors last night to friends and family and, we hear, to the public, at the bar." Per RESYfeed, fast dialers can secure bookings for Wednesday as of this afternoon.

If you thought the Waverly Inn opening was an event, well: brace yourself.
