The first in Dwell's multi-part video series on Going Green in Harlem catches our eye this morning by way of HuntGrunt Joyce Cohen, who interviewed the same couple last year after they'd dropped $850,000 for a townhouse on West 128th Street. Writes Joyce, "When I visited, it was nothing but roof, floors and stairs. The two are renovating in the style of 'warm Zen eco-modernism.' Those eco-modern features include things like sustainably harvested bamboo flooring, as well as dual-flush toilets (four of 'em)." Click through for the full video experience.
