Last time we looked in on the Aqua over near McCarren Pool, it was to note the presence of a boat out front. Alas, it was towed, but when we looked up we found that the building seems to be getting some metal that goes the utilitarian railings already in place. Unless it's a bracing device that's a prelude to the installation of the more run-of-the-mill railings, which is probably the case and very disappointing in a design sense.
