A few weeks back, a reader inquired about whether the open lot at the southwest corner of Spring and Wooster—144 Spring Street, the home to a fleamarket where (full disclosure) a Curbed editor's mother once purchased earrings—was finally set for development. Intel at that point was inconclusive.
But comes today a listing from the dean of Manhattan commercial real estate, Elliman's fab Faith Hope Consolo, that reveals development activity is definitely in the site's future. "Let us build your company a flagship location," reads the property listing; we're looking at three floors of 1,600 square feet each. The line forms to the right of Burberry, please.
