Having finished transforming most every gas station in Manhattan into luxury housing, the insidious anti-gas forces in our midst have switched tactics and are taking on Brooklyn, according to a report and photo (above) supplied by a Curbed operative. The word from the scene earlier this week: "That BP station on 4th Avenue between 5th Street and 6th Street in G-Slope received a visit from Russo's Wrecking. Today the islands, tomorrow the tanks, later the garage, and then another piece of industrial history bites the dust. To be replaced by another 12-14 story apt building."
