Some end-of-week Storefronting to propel you into the weekend? Why the hell not.
1) Harlem: For those feeling springlink in the midst of steady sleet, a floral atelier, aka fancy plant shop, has opened on Frederick Douglass Boulevard at 123rd Street. Available to purchase: African cacti, aloe plants and palms, as seen above. [Harlem Fur]
2) FiDi: The march of retailers into once-barren Wall Street continues apace. The latest brand to move south is luxe shirt stockist Thomas Pink. Opening in June, the 3,000-square-foot store will stock mens' and womens' button downs, as well as accessories like cuff links. [Fashion Week Daily]
3) West Village: It's one of the most unlikely pairings we've ever heard of: Isaac Mizrahi and Teletubbies. Mizrahi has designed a collection of bags featuring the creatures, which will be available at a special pop-up store opening March 27th. It's the first high-low collaboration we don't care about. Refreshing, really. [Fashionista]
4) Soho: And finally, while no one was looking, luxury retailer Lanvin has set up shop stateside at 142 Greene Street. The location will serve as a showroom for the company. [Fashion Week Daily]
