Behold the BQE Building, another one of those interesting structures that is so close the highway that you'll be able to stand at your window and flash sign language, or whatever, at motorists snarled in the unending traffic jam leading to the Kosciuszko Bridge. The BQE Building is at 518 Meeker Avenue, putting apartments on the first couple of floors below the elevated highway. Reminds us of that excellent building at the end of Court Street up against the BQE's big brother, the Gowanus Expressway.
