Three weeks ago, the Post's Braden Keil reported that Jon Bon Jovi?proud son of Jerz?was looking at a $26.5 million penthouse in Soho's New Museum building on Mercer Street. Rumors are fun, but surely JBJ wouldn't move the brood downtown, right? Well, now Keil has gone to press with the news that Bon Jovi has indeed purchased the home, and he got a deal: $26 million.
Brokered by Elliman superagent Leonard Steinberg, the six-bedroom duplex measures in at a whopping 7,400 square feet. Highlights include, according to the listing, "Terraces of unparalleled proportions," over-sized arched windows, a laundry room, two kitchens and an "enormous elevator." Bon Jovi's Park Millenium Tower on the Upper West Side failed to sell at $6.95 million, so he's renting it out. And don't fret, Jerseyans, he's keeping his Garden State home.
